We excavate and grade the area, compact the subbase, and install gravel bedding and rebar or wire mesh. Proper groundwork is what separates a slab that lasts 30 years from one that cracks in five.
Forms are set to exact grade and elevation. Concrete is poured, screeded, and floated by our crew. For stamped work, patterns and color hardener are applied while the concrete is still workable. This is where the craft shows.
Concrete is cured properly, then sealed with a penetrating or acrylic sealer for weather and stain resistance. Walk-ready in 24 hours. Drive-ready in 7 days. Your lifetime warranty paperwork is left on-site the day we finish.

A standard driveway takes 1-2 days to pour and finish, then 7 days to fully cure before driving on it. Larger patios or stamped concrete projects may take 2-3 days of pour work. We give you an exact timeline during your free on-site estimate.
Walk-ready in 24 hours. Drive-ready in 7 days. Concrete needs time to develop full compressive strength. Driving on it too early is one of the most common ways homeowners accidentally damage a new slab -- we remind you at every step so that doesn't happen.
Properly installed concrete driveways and patios last 30-50 years. The key is the subbase, the mix design, proper curing, and sealing. Concrete that fails early almost always traces back to skipped steps during installation -- not the concrete itself.
Often, yes. Hairline cracks and surface spalling can be filled and resurfaced for a fraction of replacement cost. Sunken slabs can sometimes be lifted via mudjacking. We assess every repair honestly -- if replacement is the better long-term value, we'll tell you that instead of patching something that won't hold.
We apply a sealer on every job before we leave. After that, we recommend resealing every 2-3 years for driveways and patios exposed to weather and UV. Sealed concrete resists staining, freeze-thaw damage, and salt -- it's the cheapest maintenance you can do.
For most residential driveways and patios, permits are not required. For larger projects or work near property lines, we let you know during the estimate what's needed and can guide you through the process. We never start work on a project that requires a permit without having it in hand.
Residential driveways should be at least 4 inches thick with a well-compacted subbase. We recommend 5 inches for driveways that see heavy trucks or SUVs regularly. Thinner slabs crack faster under load -- a contractor who quotes you 3.5-inch slabs to save money is costing you 10 years of life.
Peeling, delamination, bubbling, and coating failure due to workmanship or materials. Normal wear and physical damage from heavy impacts aren't covered, but we've never had a warranty claim on a properly prepped install. Your warranty paperwork is delivered the same day as your job.
